Get PQ Intel buying signals sent directly to your email via SMTP, Postmark, or SendGrid. Daily digests, hot alerts, and scheduled reports — no extra tools needed.
The PQ + Email integration delivers buying signal alerts directly to your inbox. Whenever PQ Intel detects a high-fit prospect exhibiting intent signals across LinkedIn, Reddit, Hacker News, Product Hunt, Telegram, X, or Medium, a formatted email notification lands in your mailbox — complete with signal context, ICP match score, and a direct link to the full prospect profile. Supports SMTP relay, Postmark, and SendGrid as delivery providers.
The integration supports three delivery modes. Real-time hot alerts fire within 60 seconds of detection for time-sensitive opportunities. Daily digests batch all new signals from the past 24 hours into a single morning briefing delivered at your configured time. Weekly roundups provide pipeline velocity metrics, trending ICP segments, and actionable recommendations every Monday. You can assign different delivery schedules per ICP profile and route alerts to multiple recipient addresses simultaneously.
Each notification includes the prospect's name and company, which platform the signal was detected on, the signal excerpt, PQ's ICP match score, a warm/hot badge classification, and a deep-link back to the full PQ Intel profile. Daily digests include aggregate counts, trending segments, and top-3 hottest leads summary. Weekly roundups add pipeline velocity data, new signal source discovery stats, and contact enrichment completion percentages. All emails render in plain text and HTML formats and are optimized for both desktop and mobile clients including Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail.
Select your delivery method in PQ Intel under Settings > Integrations > Email. Choose from SMTP (any provider), Postmark, or SendGrid. Each option shows the credentials you'll need.
For SMTP: provide your server host, port (587 for TLS), username, and password. For Postmark: paste your Server API token. For SendGrid: paste your API key. PQ encrypts all credentials at rest using AES-256.
Click Test Connection — PQ sends a test email to the address on file. Check your inbox, confirm delivery, and the connection status updates to green.
Before sending at scale, ensure your sending domain has valid SPF, DKIM, and DMARC DNS records. PQ Intel validates these on save and flags any misconfigurations. For SMTP, your provider's existing records apply. For Postmark and SendGrid, follow their domain verification guides to add the required DNS records. Proper authentication maximizes inbox placement and prevents your alerts from being flagged as spam.
PQ Intel comes with pre-built templates for Hot Signal Alerts, Daily Digests, Weekly Roundups, and ICP Match Notifications. Each template controls which fields appear, the layout, and the send frequency. You can customize the From: name and address, subject line format, and whether to include signal excerpts, profile links, and score badges. Templates are selectable per ICP profile during schedule configuration.
Choose between real-time hot alerts (sent within 60 seconds of detection), daily digests (morning summary), or weekly reports. Set recipient addresses and filter by ICP profile or signal type.
A scheduled daily email delivered at your chosen time (default 7 AM) with every high-fit prospect that triggered signals in the past 24 hours. Includes aggregate counts per platform, trending ICP segments, and top-3 hottest leads with direct profile links.
Instant email notifications when PQ Intelligence rates a signal as "Hot" — meaning the prospect has a strong ICP match and high-intent buying behavior. Delivered to your inbox within 60 seconds of detection so you can act before your competitors.
A comprehensive weekly roundup sent every Monday with pipeline velocity metrics, new signal sources discovered, ICP trend analysis, and contact enrichment completion status. Includes actionable recommendations for the week ahead.

PQ Intel encrypts all SMTP credentials, Postmark tokens, and SendGrid API keys at rest using AES-256. They are never logged, exposed in API responses, or shared between tenants.
All email delivery traffic uses TLS 1.3. PQ Intel never sends signal data over unencrypted SMTP — STARTTLS is enforced on every connection.
You control the From: name and address for all delivered emails. PQ Intel never spoofs your domain — SPF, DKIM, and DMARC compliance are maintained through your provider's native authentication.
Configure different delivery schedules per ICP profile — real-time hot alerts for enterprise prospects, daily digests for SMB, weekly reports for exploration. Each recipient address gets independent filter rules.
No emails are being delivered despite signals being detected in PQ Intel.
mail.send scope enabled. Use the Test Connection button — if it fails, review the error message shown in the integration panel. If testing succeeds but alerts still don't arrive, verify that signal routing rules are configured and enabled for at least one ICP profile.Delivered emails land in recipients' spam or junk folders instead of the inbox.
Email templates show broken layouts, missing images, or garbled HTML in some email clients.
A significant percentage of sent emails are bouncing — either hard bounces (invalid addresses) or soft bounces (mailbox full, server timeout).
PQ Intel supports any SMTP-compatible email provider, plus Postmark and SendGrid as dedicated delivery partners. If your provider speaks SMTP (port 587 with TLS), it works. Postmark and SendGrid offer enhanced deliverability tracking, bounce handling, and analytics that are surfaced directly in the PQ Intel dashboard.
Yes. You can configure multiple recipient addresses per integration, each with independent ICP profile filters and schedule settings. For example, send hot alerts to your SDR team's shared inbox and daily digests to your sales manager — all from a single integration connection.
PQ Intel queues undelivered emails for up to 2 hours and retries delivery every 10 minutes. If the server remains unreachable after 2 hours, the alerts are logged as failed in your integration dashboard with the specific error message from your SMTP server. You'll see a delivery failure indicator and can re-route or retry from the dashboard.
They are strongly recommended for reliable inbox delivery. While PQ Intel will send without them (depending on your provider), messages sent without proper authentication are far more likely to be flagged as spam. Postmark requires domain verification (DKIM) before sending. For SMTP, your existing provider records may already be configured — check with your IT team or domain administrator.
Yes. Each of the four pre-built templates (Hot Signal Alert, Daily Digest, Weekly Roundup, ICP Match Notification) can be customized from the Templates settings panel. You can modify the subject line format, toggle which data fields appear, change colors via inline CSS, and use the raw HTML editor for full control. Changes apply immediately for new emails.
There is no per-email cost from PQ Intel — you pay only what your email provider charges. SMTP relays and API-based providers typically have daily send limits based on your plan (e.g., SendGrid free tier caps at 100 emails/day). PQ Intel respects your provider's rate limits and will queue messages if you exceed them. Check your provider's documentation for their specific sending thresholds.
Connect your email provider in under 60 seconds. All plans include email integration — no hidden fees, no per-email costs.
